As a team we have extensive expience in many areas of the equine industry, having spent time working in eventing, racing and showjumping industries.

We know the ipmortance it is for a horse/pony to be not only physically fit but mentally fit to be successful.

Having also worked in large equestrian centres we have come to realise how beneficial it is for some horses to be in small calm yards with less hussel and bussel and the stresses that come with that atmosphere of a yard.

Can have a big effect on a horse. We believe the balance of a good routine with plenty of exercise and a relaxed calm atmosphere can really change a horses emotional and physical state.

Having spent 2 years as a working pupil at a riding centre I headed to Agricultural college and studied Equine management. After completing the course with distinction, I headed to London........

Completed my teaching exams (BHS P.I) and continued to teach gaining experience and increasing my level of knowledge to understanding a horse and humans and how they work together.

Finally moving back to Exmoor I spent time working for Poly Curling, a top point-to-point trainer. Getting the horses fir to race and also looking after many horses out on box rest due to race injuries.

As well as working for Poly Curling on her yard, I continued to freelance instruct and began to travel for the Pony Club on a regular basis.

On my quest to increase my knowledge and understanding of horses and how to get the best out of them, whether it be on a race track, showjumping course, polo field, just out on a hack or on a small local show, I recently headed for America to train with a cowboy who's techniques are not that of the traditional method and instead what some call "natural".

I spent three months learning how and why he uses these "natural" techniques and found how it really does increase the partnership between Horse and Rider and with that the success they have is getting the best out of them, mentally and emotional horses.

We are currently working with a top showjumper and very successfully helping increas the partnership and understanding between horse and human.

They are competing incredibly successfully and winning top competitions and they will be competing in the young horse classes ay Hickstead this summer.
